Marck & Aira Engineering

Our shop, Marck & Aira Engineering, is situated at 37/2 Basavanagudi. We are quite close to South End Circle, which is a landmark most people in this part of town know well. The area is quite nice, with a bit more character than some of the newer parts of the city. We work on various engineering projects and mechanical tasks here. The workshop isn't massive, but we have enough room for the tools and equipment we need. It’s often a bit messy with metal shavings or oil, but that’s just how an engineering place looks when work is being done. We don't have a polished showroom or anything corporate. It’s just a real workshop for real work. We take on jobs from all sorts of people and businesses nearby. Sometimes it’s a small fix and other times it’s something more involved that takes a few days. We don't talk much about innovation, we just focus on making sure the parts fit and the machines run like they should. Basavanagudi is a good place to be based, even if parking can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes near the circle. My partner and I have been at this for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Through all that, we’ve just stayed here at 37/2 doing the engineering work we know. It’s a steady life and we like being part of the local scene.
