I run Manohar Realtors from my office at B/2 in Chikka Banavara. It’s a bit further out from the main city center, but I like it here because it’s a bit more peaceful and I’ve lived in this area for a long time. My office is a small room on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in off the street. I mostly deal with land and houses around this part of town. Chikka Banavara has been growing quite a bit lately, with more people looking to move away from the noise of the middle of Bangalore. I don't have a big staff, so most of the time it’s just me handling the inquiries and going out to show people different plots. I keep all my records in big ledgers and some files, nothing too high-tech. People around here know me as Manohar, and they usually come to me because they want someone who actually knows the history of the land in this area. I don't use any fancy scripts when I'm talking to clients. I just tell them the facts about the property and what the neighbors are like. It’s a slow and steady way of working, but it’s served me well over the years. I usually close up when it gets dark because the street gets a bit quiet then. I usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background while I work, it keeps the mood light.
