Manjunath Engineering Works

The workshop is located at C-242 on the Peenya Link Road, which is basically the heart of the industrial zone. If you know Peenya, you know how it is—trucks everywhere, the smell of cutting oil, and the constant hum of industry. Our unit is a practical space designed for engineering tasks. We’ve got the lathes and the drills all set up in a way that makes sense for how we work. It’s not a place for sitting around; there is always a piece of metal that needs turning or a part that needs welding. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, but that’s normal for a place like this. We usually have the big shutter open to let some air in, though the dust from the Link Road comes in with it. Most of our day is spent looking at drawings and then making them real. It’s satisfying to see a raw piece of steel become something useful by the end of the shift. We aren't big on paperwork or long meetings, we just prefer to stay at the workbench and get things done. The traffic on the Link Road can be a headache, but being right here makes it easier for supplies to get dropped off. It’s just a regular engineering life, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the machines oiled and stay on schedule.
