Manilakshmi Engg Works

We are based out in the Peenya Industrial Area 2nd Stage, specifically at 4 8, near Rajgopal Nagar. It’s an industrial zone, so there are machines running all day long. Our workshop isn't very pretty. It’s got concrete floors and high ceilings, and there’s usually some iron shavings on the ground. We do engineering work, which means a lot of welding, cutting, and fixing things that have broken down. The air usually smells like hot metal. We have a small crew of guys who know their way around the machines. We’ve been here for a good while, and the address is pretty well known in this section of Peenya. It gets very hot in the summer under the tin roof, so we have some big fans that move the air around. It’s loud, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other over the noise of the drills. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our overalls working on a project. We take on whatever work comes our way, from small repairs to bigger parts. It’s honest, hard work. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. That’s just life in an industrial estate. We just focus on getting the jobs done right so the parts actually work. The tea break at four is something we all look forward to every single day.
