Mahesh Store

Mahesh Store is at 2/5 Mall Road in Tilak Nagar. We’ve been here for a long time. The building is older, but it’s got character. It’s right on the main Mall Road, so there’s always something going on outside. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know where everything is almost as well as we do. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stuff in stock. Sometimes you have to squeeze past boxes to get to the back. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon lights. It’s just a traditional store where we know people by their names. My family has been involved with this for a while. We start early in the morning, getting the shop ready before the main rush starts. The traffic in Tilak Nagar can be quite something, especially in the evenings. We usually just stay inside and keep busy. It’s a very honest way to earn a living. We aren't looking to expand into some giant empire. We’re happy right here on Mall Road. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door if it’s really heavy, but we just put a bucket out and keep going. It’s just part of life here. We like the local vibe and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. People sometimes stop in just to say hello even if they don't buy anything.
