You can find our place on the first floor over on Sadar Patrappa Road. It’s quite near the Town Hall and Sankey Road, so it’s right in a very central and busy part of the city. We do both steel trading and some general engineering work. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up and down the stairs, which definitely keeps us pretty fit, though it can be a real pain when the pieces of metal are long or heavy. The office is a bit cramped because we have metal samples and paper files sitting everywhere. We spend a lot of our time talking to various suppliers and trying to find the right grade of steel for different customer projects. The street outside is always packed with people, cars, and food vendors. It’s a very noisy area, but we’ve gotten used to the sound over the years. We’ve been at this address, 41550, for a good number of years now. We aren't trying to be a fancy or high-end firm. We just know our steel and we know how to handle the engineering side of things. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking the quality of the latest batch of metal that arrived. Sometimes we have to run down to the street to meet a delivery truck. It’s a busy life in this part of town. We don't have any glossy brochures or sales people. People just come to us because they know we are here.
