If you've ever been to Mamulpet, you know how it is. It’s crowded and narrow, and at number 19, we’re right in the thick of it at Mahaveer Impex. We handle a lot of different goods coming in and out every single day. The morning starts with unloading crates and checking against the manifests, which is a lot of physical work. There’s always someone shouting outside or a cart blocking the way, but you get used to the noise after a few years. Our space is filled with boxes stacked almost to the ceiling, so you have to know exactly where everything is or you’ll never find it. We deal with a lot of regular vendors who have been coming to this area for decades. It’s not a quiet office job; it’s mostly about moving things around and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit by the doorway to catch some light while we wait. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door. Most people find us because they’ve been told where to go. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to track shipments. We just try to keep things moving so nothing gets backed up in the warehouse. The floor is concrete and gets cold in the rainy season, but it's a solid place to work.
