We have been operating out of the Canara Bank Building on Lalbagh Road for a good while now. It is a well-known spot because of the bank, and K H Road is always packed with people heading toward Double Road. Our office is at number 18, and it is a very straightforward setup. We do not have any big decorations or fancy carpets on the floor. It is just a place for us to sit down and get the daily work done. The noise from the traffic outside is pretty constant, but you stop noticing it after the first week or so. We usually get in early before the heat really sets in for the afternoon. There is a lot of coming and going in this building, and we see all sorts of people throughout the day. We are not much for small talk; we prefer to just focus on whatever task is on the desk. If someone needs something, we just look into it and tell them what we find. It is a very practical way of doing things without any fuss. The building itself is old and sturdy, and we like the feeling of being in a place with some history. Sometimes we grab a coffee from the stall around the corner when things get a bit slow. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families.
