About Magnetic Engineering – Engineering in Bengaluru
Working out of Airport Road Pakhowal Road 527 keeps us on our toes every day. Magnetic Engineering isn't one of those shiny places you see in magazines. It's a real workshop with tools scattered on the benches and the smell of metal and oil everywhere. We spend most of our time hunkered over machines trying to figure out why something stopped spinning or why a part won't fit right. The location here near the junction of Airport Road and Pakhowal Road is always noisy with trucks passing by, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes we stay late into the night because a job is taking longer than we thought it would. My hands are usually covered in grease by ten in the morning. We don't have a big front office or someone to answer the phones all day. Usually, if the phone rings, I have to wipe my hands on a rag before I can pick it up. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks, and the shelves are heavy with parts we might need someday. It’s practical work. We just focus on the tasks right in front of us. Some days are slow and we just clean the tools, but most days there is plenty to do. Being at 527 means we see a lot of people passing through this part of town, and we just keep our heads down and get the engineering work done.
