Mag Pipework Engineers

If you walk into our place at 95 BTM Layout 2nd Stage, you’ll probably see a lot of pipes leaning against the walls. Mag Pipework Engineers is really just a group of us who know our way around a welding torch and a wrench. The office is small and the desk is usually covered in old receipts and coffee rings. BTM Layout is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise coming in from the street while we’re trying to weld or cut things to size. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big sign out front. Most of the time, we’re just focused on getting the measurements right so things don't leak later on. It’s physical work and it gets hot in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic and everything gets pushed back, which is annoying but that’s just part of being in this area. We’ve had some of the same tools for twenty years because they still work just fine. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. Most of what we do involves being on our feet and making sure the pipe joints are solid. It’s a bit messy here and the lighting isn’t great, but it’s where we do our work every day. We just try to keep things moving and get the jobs done without too much fuss.
