Mag Engineer Pvt Ltd is located in Peenya again. We are in the 2nd Phase, on 3rd Main, at number 46A. It is a basic engineering spot. We have some lathes and some other machines that take up almost all the floor space. It is a bit cramped inside but that is how we like it because everything is within reach. We do a lot of small parts, things that people need to fix their bigger machines. It is precision work but the shop itself looks a bit messy to an outsider. There are metal shavings on the floor by noon no matter how much we sweep up. We have been in this 46A spot for many years. The neighbors all know who we are. We drink coffee from the same guy who comes around with a flask every morning. It is not a corporate setup at all. Just a few of us who know how to handle the tools and the metal. We take the drawings people bring in and try to make them into real parts. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day fixing it ourselves. That is just part of being a small engineering outfit. The 3rd Main road is always packed with big lorries. You get used to the constant noise. It is a lot of standing on your feet all day long. We just get the parts finished and ready for whoever ordered them.
