M A Poovaiah

We are located over at Kodigehalli 7 170. It’s a pretty quiet spot most of the time, though the street gets a bit busy when the school nearby lets out in the afternoon. The office itself isn’t anything fancy or modern. We have a few mismatched desks, some old metal filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a computer that takes a few minutes to really get going in the morning. M A Poovaiah is the name on the board outside. People sometimes walk right past it because the sign is small and the paint is starting to fade a little bit around the edges, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know exactly where to find us. Usually, the day starts with someone bringing in a flask of tea, and we just get to work on whatever happens to be on the pile for that day. It is mostly just paperwork and answering the phone when it rings. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or so, so we just sit by the open window and wait for it to come back on. It gives us a chance to watch the neighbors going about their own business on the street. We do not have a big corporate team or a flashy lobby with a receptionist. It is just us doing our thing in this little corner of the neighborhood. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are just used to it.
