Life Sketchings

You can find Life Sketchings at 20 Dr S S Rao Rd in the Arekere area. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. It’s a quiet enough street, which helps when we’re trying to focus. The office is really just a room filled with stuff we’ve collected over the years. We aren't much for decorating. There are sketches pinned to the walls and half-finished ideas on every flat surface. Arekere is a nice part of the city to be in. It feels a bit more grounded than the flashier districts. At number 20, we just do our own thing. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who have been together for a long time. We know each other's habits and how we like our tea. It’s a comfortable way to work. We don't go out looking for awards or big recognition. Most of our people come to us because they heard about us from someone else. It’s a slow and steady way of doing things. Dr S S Rao Rd has its busy times, but mostly it’s just a regular street where people live and work. We fit right in. We’re not trying to change the world, just trying to do right by the people who walk through our door. That’s Life Sketchings in a nutshell. No fuss, just work. Sometimes the days get long, but when you're doing something you like, it doesn't feel so much like a burden.
