Leder Park

Leder Park is found off Commercial Street in the Shivaji Nagar area, specifically near Crawford Market. Commercial Street is always a bit of a maze with all the narrow lanes and the constant flow of people looking for deals. Our shop at number 40 is one of those places you stumble upon while walking through the market. We handle leather goods, hence the name, and the smell of the hides is the first thing you notice when you step inside. The building is older, and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it gives the place a real, lived-in feel. We have piles of goods everywhere, and sometimes we have to move three boxes just to get to one item. It’s not the most organized system, but it works for us. We spend our days cutting, checking the stitching, and making sure the leather is sitting right. Crawford Market is a busy place to be, and there is never a dull moment with the sounds of the street coming through the door. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some major chain. We are just a local shop that knows leather well. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years because they know where we are and what we do. It’s a practical business, nothing more. We just stay focused on the leather and the daily work that comes with it, keeping the shop open for whoever walks in during the day to look around the stock.
