Lead Design Engineer

Started on Kollangudiyaar West St a while back. It’s a busy little spot in Devakottai. We’re mostly just working on design stuff here as Lead Design Engineer. The office at number 18 is small but it works for what we need to do. Some days the heat in Tamil Nadu really gets to us, so the fan is always running. People come in with different engineering ideas and we sit down to draw them out. It isn't anything fancy. We’ve got a couple of desks and some old computers that still run the software we like. Most of the time it’s quiet except for the street noise outside. I’ve lived around here for years, so setting up on this street felt right. We deal with drawings and technical plans. If someone needs a design figured out, they usually just walk in or call. It’s a lot of looking at screens and measuring things. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break then. It’s mostly just me and a few others. We aren't trying to be some big firm from the city. We just handle the local work that comes our way. Devakottai is a good place for this. Not too fast, but enough happening to keep us busy. We just keep our heads down and get the drawings done for whoever needs them. It’s just how we spend our days at 18 Kollangudiyaar West St.
