Laxmi Food & Beverages

Laxmi Food & Beverages is based out of House No. 30 in Mahalaxmipuram. We are pretty close to the Iskcon Temple, just west of Chord Road. It’s a busy part of town, but our little spot is tucked away enough that it’s not too crazy. We handle all our food and beverage work from here. It’s not a giant factory; it’s more of a local operation where we keep things small and manageable. We started this because we liked the idea of making things ourselves. The kitchen or production area takes up most of the space, so there’s not much room for a fancy sitting area. We usually have the radio playing while we work. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just focus on getting the recipes right and making sure everything is clean and ready. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and have to dash out to the market, which is just part of the daily life here. We don’t talk about "excellence" or "vision." We just talk about what needs to be bottled or bagged today. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows what their job is. We’ve had some ups and downs over the years, but we’re still here, doing the same thing every morning near the temple. It’s a good, simple way to run a business without getting too complicated.
