Lassi Point has been here at Ulsoor 42 for a good while now. It isn't a fancy place, just a small shop where we keep the blenders running most of the afternoon. When the sun gets really hot outside on the street, people usually wander in looking for something cold. We spend a lot of time just keeping the counters wiped down because the yogurt can get sticky. The chairs are those plastic ones that have been here since we opened. Sometimes the delivery guys wait outside on their bikes and talk loudly, which you can hear inside quite clearly. We start early in the morning, getting the milk curdled and ready. There is a specific way the power cord for the mixer hangs that we have to be careful with. The back room is where we keep the extra crates and the sugar bags. It gets a bit cramped when three of us are working behind the counter at once, especially during the evening rush when the office folks are heading home. We don't have much of a view, just the traffic moving towards the main junction. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. It is just a regular spot in the neighborhood. We don't do anything special, just keep the fridge cold and make sure there is enough ice for the day. Most of our regulars live just a few houses down. We keep the napkins in a plastic holder that usually falls over.
