Lassi Point

Lassi Point has been at Ulsoor 42 for some time. It’s a small shop, mostly just a counter and some storage in the back. We spend our days mixing lassi and serving it to whoever walks in. Ulsoor is a busy area, especially when the weather is hot. That’s when we really have to move fast. We keep the yogurt cold and the glasses ready. There isn't much room for people to hang out inside, so most folks grab their drink and move on. The street outside number 42 is always full of bikes and pedestrians. Sometimes it’s hard to even hear the customers over the noise of the traffic. We don't use any fancy advertising. Usually, people just see the sign and stop by because they're thirsty. We’ve got a few different flavors, but most people just stick to the basics. The floor can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful with the spills. We keep a mop handy near the back. It’s just two or three of us working here at any given time. We take turns handling the money and making the drinks. It’s not a complicated business. We don't have a website or a big social media presence. We just rely on the people living and working around Ulsoor to keep us going. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the local scene. Nothing fancy, just cold drinks on a hot day for everyone who stops.
