Lassi Dlite

We started Lassi Dlite here on 10th Cross Road because we noticed there wasn't a good spot nearby to grab a cold drink when it gets really hot in Jayanagara. Someshwara Nagar is a busy area and people are always walking back and forth so we figured this was as good a place as any. Every morning we open up the shutters and get the milk and curd ready before the sun starts hitting the front of the shop. It is not a very big space but we make it work somehow. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters and making sure the glasses are stacked right. Sometimes the mixie makes a lot of noise but nobody seems to mind it much. Jayanagara has changed a lot lately with more cars and people but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We see the same faces every day, mostly folks from around Jaya Nagar coming in for a quick break. We don't do anything fancy with decorations or anything like that. It is just a simple place where you can sit for a few minutes and have something cold. The fans are always running to keep the air moving. We try to keep the place tidy even when it gets crowded in the evenings. It feels good when someone finishes their glass and looks a bit more relaxed than when they walked in. That is basically what we do here every single day.
