Landmark Estate Agents is located on an upper floor at 83 Commercial Street. We are specifically situated on T N Setty Lane, which is near the Avenue Road Cross in the Balepet area. If you can find the SLV Departmental Stores, we are right there above them. It is a very crowded part of the city. The streets around here are quite narrow and they are always filled with people shopping or moving various goods. Our office is a simple, functional space where we keep all our files and maps of local properties. We spend a lot of our time walking through the lanes of Balepet and the surrounding areas to look at different buildings. Real estate in this part of town is pretty complicated because many of the structures are very old and built close together. We know these particular streets like the back of our hands. We are not like those big corporate agencies that have shiny cars and fancy presentations. We mostly just walk or take a small scooter to go and meet with people. The office can get a bit noisy because of the shops downstairs and the constant traffic on Commercial Street. We sit down with people and have long talks about rents or what a building might sell for. It involves a lot of conversation and plenty of paperwork. We have been at this location for years, watching the local businesses change over time.
