L V Candle & Enterprises

L V Candle & Enterprises is a small operation we run out of Bapagram in Malad East. We are located on Daftary Road No 3, which is quite close to the Shantidhama School. Most of our days are spent working with wax and wicks. It’s a bit of a messy business, with drips of wax everywhere and the smell of different scents hanging in the air. We make all kinds of candles, and the shop is usually filled with rows of them drying on the racks. It’s a quiet kind of work, very different from the noise of the main roads. Being near the school means we see the kids and parents passing by every day, which gives the area a nice community feel. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a small enterprise where we do things by hand. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of wax and have to wait for more to arrive, so things can get a bit backed up. Our space is functional, with heavy tables for pouring and shelves for storage. We don't have any fancy marketing or big displays. We just put our heads down and make the candles as best as we can. It’s a steady routine that we’ve grown to like over the years. Malad East is a busy place, but our little corner on Daftary Road stays focused on the simple task of making things that people use in their homes.
