Kunar Bag Industries

Kunar Bag Industries is located at 2 Hill Road Ending in the Balepet area. It is right at the end of the road, which makes it a bit quieter than the main market area, but still close enough to feel the buzz of the city. We are in the business of making and selling bags, and we have been at this Hill Road location for quite a long time. The space is more of a workshop than a store, so you will often hear the sound of sewing machines running in the background. There are bits of thread and scrap fabric on the floor most of the time, which is just how it goes when you are working. We don't have a fancy entrance or a receptionist. Usually, one of us will just look up from the machine when someone walks in through the front door. Balepet is a historic part of the city, and we like the old-school feel of the neighborhood. The building is a bit cramped, and the stairs are narrow, but it has character that you don't find in newer places. We focus on the work at hand, making sure the bags are put together properly and that we don't run out of materials for the next batch. We don't spend money on advertising or shiny signs. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking down to the end of Hill Road. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working hard to keep things moving. We stay till it's done.
