Fastrack Store

We are running the Fastrack Store located right opposite the Cafe Coffee Day on the ground floor. It is a pretty good spot because everyone knows where the coffee shop is, so they never have trouble finding us. Being on the ground floor means we get a lot of people just walking in to look at the watches or the bags while they are out shopping. The store isn't massive, but we make use of the space we have to show the different designs. Most of our day is spent cleaning the glass cases and talking to people about what they like. It gets busy on the weekends when the mall or the street gets crowded with families and students. We have a small team here and we mostly just chat among ourselves when the store is quiet. Sometimes the music from the other shops gets a bit loud, but it keeps the energy up. We don't do any big sales pitches; we just let people browse and answer their questions if they have any. It’s a straightforward retail job and we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. The ground floor location is convenient for us because we can see what’s happening outside on the street. It’s interesting to see the different types of people who come through the door every day looking for a new strap or a pair of sunglasses. We just keep the shelves stocked and the lights on.
