Kiran Deep Corner

Kiran Deep Corner is tucked away in the Jaya Nagar Shopping Complex. If you know Jayanagar 4th Block, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. We are at number 24 inside the complex. The building itself is one of those older places where you can easily get lost if you aren't paying attention to the shop numbers. There is always a lot of noise from the neighboring stalls and people arguing over prices in the hallways. Our space is quite small, so we have to stack things high up on the shelves. Sometimes we have to use a rickety old ladder to reach the stuff at the top. The lights in the corridor flicker sometimes but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We see a lot of the same faces every day, mostly people who work in the other shops coming by to say hello or share some news. The floor is made of that old grey stone that stays cool even when it is hot outside. We don't have much room for a proper seating area, so most people just stand while we talk. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the complex, but a small fan keeps us going. It’s just a basic corner shop where we handle our daily business without much fuss or extra decoration. This place has been our second home for years.
