Karthik Estate Agency is based right at 1818 New Thippasandra. If you know this area, you know it can get pretty hectic during the day. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the buildings and the people who own them. Our office is a bit small, filled with maps and ledgers and a lot of keys that we have to keep track of. It’s not a corporate setup with glass walls. It’s more of a place where you can drop in and have a chat about what’s available in the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time walking around the streets here, looking at properties and talking to landlords. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking coffee, while other days we are running back and forth trying to meet people at different houses. Real estate around New Thippasandra is always interesting because there's always something moving or changing. We don't use any fancy software to tell us what's happening; we just use our eyes and talk to people. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We’ve had this spot for a while now and it feels like home to us. Dealing with property isn't always easy, and there are plenty of headaches with paperwork and schedules, but we manage. We’re just local people who know this patch of land well and spend our time trying to help people find a place to stay or work.
