Kamadhenu Stores

Kamadhenu Stores is located at 107 New Nagardas Road in Balepet. We are situated quite close to the Vijayalakshmi Theatre. Balepet is an old and busy part of the city, and our shop has been here for a long time. We have seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our shop remains much the same. It’s a traditional local store where we keep a bit of everything. We don't have any modern gadgets or self-checkout counters. We just serve people across the counter like shops used to do. It’s a very personal way of doing business. Usually, it’s just one or two of us working. We know where every single item is kept, even if the shelves look a bit crowded to an outsider. The building has some history to it, and you can tell by looking at the walls. We spend most of our time chatting with neighbors or re-stocking the items that sold out the day before. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We just focus on being open every day. Balepet is a crowded area, and the streets are narrow, but it has a lot of character. We’re happy to be part of the street. If you ever find yourself near the theater, you’ll likely see our open door. It is a simple way to spend the years. We keep it going through all kinds of seasons. No reason to do it differently.
