Kalpus Distillery Works

Kalpus Distillery Works is located at Adugodi 9. It is an old spot and we have been here for quite some time now. The building has some character although some might just call it old. It is mostly just brick and concrete walls. We spend our days monitoring the processes and making sure everything is running like it should. Adugodi is a busy area with a lot of traffic passing by the gates all day long. We mostly stay inside and focus on the work at hand. It is not the cleanest job in the world. We usually go home with some stains on our clothes or dust on our boots. That is just how it is for us. We are not a big corporate entity with lots of rules. We are just a group of people who know how to run a distillery properly. There is a lot of waiting involved in what we do. You cannot rush these things if you want them done right. We have a small break room where we sit and talk when things are simmering in the tanks. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have some old calendars and a few hand-written instructions pinned up. People sometimes ask us what it is like working in a place like this. We just say it is a job like any other. It has its good days and its bad days.
