Kalmane Koffees

We've been here at Malleshwaram Patel Chowk for a good while now. It's a busy spot on R B Mehta Road, and we see people from all walks of life passing through. Most mornings start early, getting everything ready before the first lot of regulars shows up. You know how it is in this part of town, everyone is in a hurry but they still want their coffee fixed right. We don't do anything too fancy, just focus on keeping the place clean and making sure the beans are handled properly. Sometimes the rain makes things quiet, other times it's so crowded you can barely move around. We have a few small tables and the smell of the roast usually fills up the street outside. People tell us they find the shop because of that smell. My staff has been with me for some time, so they know who likes what without even asking anymore. It’s just how we run things here. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. It’s more about the routine of the day. You see the same faces every morning, hear the same stories about work or the traffic on the way here. Malleshwaram has changed a lot over the years, more shops and more cars, but this corner stays pretty much the same for us. We just keep doing what we do every day, hoping the machines don't act up too much and the supplies arrive on time from the estate.
