Kaka Cafe

St Marks Road is always full of energy, and we sit right at number 9 at Kaka Cafe. It’s a small place, nothing too big or flashy, just enough room for some tables and the counter. We start the day early, long before the crowds show up, getting the stove going and setting out the cups. The walls are a bit plain, and maybe the paint is peeling a little in the corners, but it feels like home to us. We’ve seen the street change a lot over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. People come in for a quick break from the noise outside. We don’t have a big menu with fancy names, just the usual stuff that people like to eat and drink. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded and people have to stand, but nobody really complains. The staff here are like family, we’ve worked together so long we don't even have to talk much to know what needs doing. You can hear the buses and cars honking outside all day long, but inside it’s a bit different. We just try to keep the place clean and the service steady. It’s not a corporate chain or anything, just a local spot where you can sit down for a minute and forget about the rush. Most people who come here are regulars who live or work nearby.
