K Murlai

Down at 24 Dinnur in R. T. Nagar, things stay pretty constant. It is a small place, and most of the people who drop by are from just around the corner or the next street over in Bangalore. We have been at this address for a while now, and you get used to the sounds of the neighborhood and the way the traffic picks up in the afternoon. It is just K Murlai here, doing the daily work that needs to get done. There aren’t any big flashy signs or anything like that. People just know where we are. Usually, the day is filled with small tasks and talking to the regulars who stop in for a bit. It’s the kind of place where you know the neighbors and the guy who sells tea down the road. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when a few people show up at once, but we manage. The building is older, but it serves the purpose. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look perfect. It is more about getting the job finished and making sure the door is open for whoever needs us. Being in R. T. Nagar feels right because it is a community that actually talks to each other. We are just a part of the local scene at Dinnur, keeping at it day after day without much fuss and just seeing what the next morning brings.
