Jrd Engineering Pvt Ltd is on the 7th floor of Manish Towers. It’s on J C Road, right near the SRS building in Peenya H-1. Being on the 7th floor means we have a bit of a view, though mostly it’s just other buildings and the street traffic below. We do engineering work here, mostly planning and technical drawings. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at screens. We used to be in a smaller place, but moved here because we needed more room for files and a few more staff members. Peenya is a busy industrial area, so there’s always something going on outside. The elevator in this building is a bit slow, so we end up waiting a lot. We deal with various projects, some big and some small. We don't really have a big sales team. Most people we work with have known us for years. It’s quiet in the office compared to the shops downstairs. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up. We have coffee together in the afternoons and talk about things other than work. It's a professional setup, but we're just regular people trying to do a good job. We've been in this part of town for quite a while now. The 7th floor gets a bit warm in the afternoon sun, but we get by. There is a small canteen nearby where we usually go for lunch. It’s a simple routine that works for all of us here.
