John Joseph Engineering Works

Our shop is in the A. Saravana Building, right on the 10th Cross in Channakeshava Nagar. Being near Electronic City Post means there’s always a lot of activity around here. John Joseph Engineering Works is basically a place where we get our hands dirty. We do a lot of mechanical work and repair jobs. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s more of a workshop where you can hear the machines from down the street. We’ve got a small crew and we’ve been working together for a long time now. We know our equipment inside out. Most people who come to us are looking for something specific to be fixed or made. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just look at the job and see if we can help. The shop gets a bit cluttered sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy with metal. We’ve seen the area grow quite a bit since we started. There are more buildings now and more people. But inside our doors, things stay pretty much the same. We just focus on the task at hand. It’s a lot of manual labor and using our heads to figure things out. We don’t have much use for fancy words or sales pitches. We just show up and do the work that’s waiting for us. It is just a normal way to spend the day.
