Java City

Java City is over at 63/2 in the 3rd Block of Jayanagar. We are right on 8th Main and 18th Cross. It is a busy corner. We have been making coffee here for a long time. The machines make a lot of noise throughout the day. We have tables that have seen a lot of use over the years. Jayanagar is a great neighborhood. We know many of the people who walk past our door every morning. It’s not a fancy cafe with modern decor. We kept things pretty simple. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon. We focus on the beans and the brewing process. Sometimes the line gets long and we have to work fast. We don't use those automatic machines for everything. We like doing things by hand when we can. The address at 18th Cross is easy to find. We have a few regular spots where people like to sit and talk. We don't mind if people stay for a while. It’s a community spot really. We get the milk delivered early. Sometimes the rain makes the patio a bit messy. We just mop it up and keep going. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Bangalore. We just like being here in Jayanagar 3rd Block. It feels like home to us after all these years at 63/2. We aren't much for fancy talk. We just serve the coffee and clean the mugs.
