Janani Creations

Our little shop is located on New Post Office Road in Jayanagar 7th Block. We are at number 14. It’s a really nice part of Bangalore, with lots of big trees and people walking their dogs. We call ourselves Janani Creations because we actually make things here by hand. It’s mostly fabric work, tailoring, and some basic design stuff for local customers. The space inside is always filled with big rolls of colorful cloth, old sewing machines, and bits of thread all over the floor. It’s usually a bit messy, but that’s just how we work best when we have a lot of orders. We don't have a big fancy showroom with lights and models. If you come in, you’ll probably see us working on a project right there at the big main wooden table. We aren't interested in being a big corporate brand or anything like that. We just like making clothes and items that people in the neighborhood actually want to wear. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to wait a bit to use the machines, but we just use that time to sit and have some tea. The neighbors are all very friendly, and we often chat with the people working at the post office across the way. We’ve been here for a few years and have a few regulars who come in every single month. We don't do much on the internet. People just hear about us.
