Jain Cabs

We run Jain Cabs out of a small office at 25 Uttarahalli Dabhoi Road. Most of the day is spent checking the phones and making sure the drivers know where they are going. The traffic on Dabhoi Road can be a real headache, especially during the morning rush hours. We see a lot of people passing by our door on their way to work or school. Our office isn't much to look at, just a desk, a couple of chairs, and some maps stuck on the wall. We started this because we know the Uttarahalli area quite well and figured it made sense to have a base here. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do everything on paper, which gets a bit messy and slow. The cars are usually parked nearby when they aren't out on a trip. It’s a lot of waiting around sometimes, then suddenly everyone wants a cab at the same time. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the phone to ring. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big corporate fleet, just a few reliable vehicles and people who know the local roads. The building we are in is older, and the paint is peeling a bit near the window. But it’s home for us during the day. We try to keep things running even when the roads are blocked or the weather is bad. Being at number 25 puts us right in the middle of it.
