Jai Hanuman City Taxi

Our office is situated on the second floor in JP Nagar, right near the Nandhini Hotel. It is a pretty recognizable landmark around here, which helps since the traffic can get quite bad on this stretch. We spend most of our hours answering calls and trying to coordinate where the cars are at any given moment. It gets a little chaotic when it rains because everyone wants a ride at the same time and the phones just won't stop ringing. The office itself is simple, just a few desks and some chairs for drivers to sit in when they are waiting for a shift or just having a tea. We’ve been operating out of this JP Nagar spot for a while, so we know the shortcuts and the trouble spots in the city pretty well. Managing a taxi service means you are never really off the clock. There is always someone needing to get somewhere, whether it is an early flight or just a trip to the market. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that, just a small team trying to keep the wheels moving. Sometimes the logs get a bit messy or a driver is late because of a block on the main road, but we manage. People stop by the office occasionally to ask about rates or just to find a driver they know. It is a lot of talking on the phone and looking at maps.
