Jagadeshwara L

I’m Jagadeshwara L and I run things over at 283 Banashankari. Our place is right near the bus stop, so it’s easy to spot if you’re taking public transport. I’ve been working out of this location for several years now. It started off small and hasn't changed all that much. The shop gets a lot of dust because of all the buses stopping right outside, so I’m always wiping down the counters. It’s a busy spot. People are always rushing by to catch their ride. Sometimes they pop in just to ask for directions or check the time. I don't mind. It’s good to have company. My brother helps me out on the weekends when it gets a bit more crowded. We have some old shelves that probably need replacing, but they still hold up. The roof leaks a little when it rains really hard, so we keep a bucket handy. It’s just the way things are here. We aren't some big corporation with fancy uniforms. It’s just me, Jagadeshwara L, doing what I do every day near the Banashankari bus stop. I know most of the regulars who pass by every morning. We drink tea and talk about the news before the workday really kicks off. It’s a simple life, but I like being part of the community here and seeing the same faces every day.
