J. R. Engineering Works

We are tucked away at No. 609, on the 11th Cross in Peenya’s 4th Phase. If you’ve ever been to the Peenya Industrial Area, you know it’s a massive place with lots of small shops like ours everywhere you look. J. R. Engineering Works is one of many, but we’ve been here long enough to know the neighbors and the local tea stall. The workshop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and bits of wire. We do a lot of different engineering jobs depending on who walks through the door that day. It’s not a clean environment by any means. There’s always the sound of grinding or cutting going on in the background. We don’t have much in the way of a front desk or a waiting area. Most people just walk right into the work area to talk to us while we're working. Peenya is a tough place to navigate if you aren’t used to the narrow streets and all the trucks parked everywhere. We’ve grown used to the noise and the constant activity of the industrial zone. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job that needs to go out the next morning. It’s just how things go here. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just use the machines to make or fix parts. It’s a simple operation, run by people who like working with their hands. We just keep our heads down and get it done.
