J D Cabs

We have been running J D Cabs out of Nanjappa Layout for a good while now. It is a quiet enough spot in Byatarayanapura, mostly residential houses and small shops around us at number 13. Every day starts early here because people always need to get to work or catch a flight. We keep the cars parked along the side of the road when they are not out on a trip. The layout can get a bit crowded with bikes and people in the evening, but we manage to navigate it. Most of the drivers live right nearby so they know all the shortcuts through the back lanes of the Byatarayanapura area. It is not a fancy office or anything like that, just a simple desk and some chairs where we sit and take the bookings. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times we just sit and watch the traffic go by. People in the neighborhood know us by name and just walk over when they need a ride. We do not do much advertising, mostly just folks calling because they saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. It gets quite dusty in the summer months but that is just how the weather is around here. We try our best to keep the vehicles tidy for the next person. Usually, there is some hot tea being shared while we wait for the next call. It is a simple, practical life for us here.
