Our setup is located within the Kaic Premises in Hebbal. It’s a pretty specific kind of place because we deal with the International Flower Auction Bangalore Ltd. activities. If you come by early in the morning, it’s a completely different world with all the flowers arriving and the bidding starting up. It gets quite loud and frantic when the auction is in full swing. We just need to make sure the flowers get sold and moved out quickly. The staff here has been doing this for a long time, so they know the rhythm of the clock. Sometimes things get a bit messy with discarded stems and water on the floor, but that’s just part of the job. It’s a practical, fast-paced environment where we focus on getting the daily trade done before the sun gets too high. Everyone works hard to keep things moving.
