Infinitea

Being located at 2, Shah Sultan Complex on Cunningham Road means we’re right in the middle of everything in Bangalore. The traffic outside is almost always a mess, but that is just part of living here. We’ve got this space where we focus on tea. It’s not a huge place, but it fits what we need to do. Most days start with us checking the bags and making sure everything is where it should be. The complex itself has a lot of other businesses, so there is always a mix of people walking past our door. Some stop in just to see what the smell is. We don’t use any loud speakers or big posters to get attention. We just stay busy with the leaves and the brewing. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, which is frustrating, but we just wait it out like everyone else on Cunningham Road. It gets dusty too, with all the construction that seems to never end in this city. We spend a good amount of time just wiping down the counters and the glass. My hands usually smell like tea even after I go home and wash them. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to make sure the tea is ready when someone wants it. It’s just us here, doing the same thing day after day.
