Our office is over in Vadapalani at No: 20, 3rd Street in Ottagapalayam. Chennai is a big, crowded city, and Vadapalani is right in the thick of it. We are tucked away on 3rd Street, which is a bit quieter than the main roads, luckily. We focus on power system engineering, which basically means we spend our time making sure electrical setups in buildings and factories are working the way they are supposed to. It is technical work that involves a lot of double-checking and looking at blueprints. We have a small team here at Inel Power System Engineers P Ltd, and we’ve all been working together for a long time. The office is nothing fancy, just a place with enough room for our desks and all the technical manuals we need. We don’t go for big promotional talk because our work usually speaks for itself when the power stays on. Living and working in Chennai means we deal with the heat and the traffic every day, but we are used to it. We usually have the fans going full blast while we look over project details. People in Ottagapalayam know us as the engineers who are always busy with their papers. We like being part of the neighborhood. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it suits the kind of engineering work we do every day.
