Indian Silk Sarees

We are located at No. 124 on 3rd Cross in the K. N Extension area. It’s right off Triveni Road in Yeshwanthpur. If you know the neighborhood, it’s not hard to find. Indian Silk Sarees has a lot of history in this spot. The street can be quite narrow, so parking is usually a bit of a headache for anyone visiting. We have piles of silk everywhere you look. The colors are bright, and the whole place smells a bit like fabric and old wood. We spend our days unfolding and folding things back up. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands get tired by the end of the week. My family has been around this part of Yeshwanthpur for a long time. We know the people at the tea stall around the corner and the other shop owners on 3rd Cross. It’s a tight-knit community here. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s not a high-tech operation. We use old ledgers and do a lot of things by hand because that’s how we learned. The sarees take up most of the room, so there’s just enough space for a few chairs and a small table. We don't mind the clutter though. It feels like home to us. It’s just a regular local shop trying to get by and keep the tradition going.
