Our workshop is tucked away in Peenya Industrial Area 2nd Cross, specifically at B-94 in the 1st Stage. It’s a busy neighborhood where you can always hear the sound of metal being worked on nearby. We’ve been operating from this building for quite a while, and it has that old engineering shop feel with grease stains on the floor and heavy tools everywhere. The front door is usually kept open to let some air in because it gets quite stuffy with the machines running. We have a small team of guys who have been with us for years, and we all know where every single nut and bolt is kept, even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. There is an old calendar from three years ago still hanging near the back door for some reason. The 2nd Cross is often blocked by lorries loading up, so getting in and out can take a bit of patience. We spend our days looking at drawings and making sure the parts we produce are what the clients asked for. There’s no fancy lobby or air conditioning here, just a lot of hard work and the smell of cutting oil. Sometimes we stay late when a big job needs to be finished, and we just order some food from the local stall down the street. It’s a straightforward life in the industrial heart of the city, and we are just used to the daily grind.
