Our office is tucked away at 533/A, Vijayashree, on the 7th Main road here in Hanumnthanagar. It’s a pretty established part of Bangalore, so you get that mix of old houses and new shops everywhere. K.S. Narasimha Swamy Road can get really jammed up during peak hours, which makes getting into the office a bit of a chore some mornings. I.D.E.A Centre Architects Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a group of us sitting around tables covered in blueprints and coffee mugs. The building feels like a home because it’s in a residential pocket. We don't have those big glass walls you see in the corporate parks. Instead, we have windows that look out onto the street where the neighbors walk their dogs. The afternoon sun hits the front desk around three, making it way too hot for a couple of hours. We spend our time arguing over window placements and looking at structural details. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just the sound of keyboards and the occasional delivery person looking for the right door. We’ve got shelves sagging under the weight of old project files from years ago. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We just show up, do the drawings, and head home when the traffic starts to settle down a little bit. It's a simple setup for a small team. We just keep at it and hope the power stays on all day.
