Hira Real Estate

We are tucked away at 43-1 in Thavarakere, right by Jawahar Chow. It is a busy spot where people are always rushing somewhere. Most days start around ten when the shutters go up. Hira Real Estate has been around this corner for a while now. The office is small but we keep all the files organized in those old metal cabinets that squeak a bit when you open them. People stop by looking for a room or maybe a small house nearby. It gets dusty because of the road work that never seems to end around here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking down the narrow lanes to show a property to someone. Sometimes the keys get mixed up and we have to go back and search the desk. That is just how it goes here. The fan in the ceiling makes a clicking noise that we stopped noticing years ago. Neighbors from the shops next door come in for a chat or to borrow a stapler sometimes. We know most of the landlords around here pretty well. It is not a fancy place with big carpets or glass walls. Just a desk, a few chairs, and a lot of maps of the local area pinned to the wall with tape. We see the students moving in and out every season with their bags. It stays noisy outside until late evening. By the time we lock up at night, the street lights are already flickering. We just try to get the paperwork right so nobody has a headache later.
