Heeraji Fashions

Heeraji Fashions is over at No.54 V N Complex. We are on the mezzanine floor, so you have to go up a half-flight of stairs. It’s in Patnoolpet, near G P Street. This part of the city is very old and the streets are quite narrow. It’s always crowded with people and handcarts moving stuff around. Our space in V M Complex is a bit cramped, but we've got all our machines squeezed in there. We mainly do fashion work, focusing on whatever orders come in. It’s a lot of sitting and sewing for long hours. The mezzanine floor is a bit low, so tall people have to watch their heads in certain spots. We don't have much of a view, just the other buildings in the complex. It’s a very local feel. We know the other business owners in the building. We often get tea from the stall downstairs. There’s no big sign outside, just our name on the door. It’s an unpretentious place. We don't have a website or a social media manager. We just do the work and send it out. Most of our days are spent checking thread colors and making sure the machines are oiled properly. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s our routine at Heeraji Fashions. We've been in Patnoolpet for some time now and we're used to the hustle of the market area. We don't need much more than our machines and enough light to see the stitches.
