Hatti Kaapi

Hatti Kaapi is right there on Subedar Chatram Road, on the 1st Main. If you know this part of town, you know it’s busy. There are people walking everywhere and buses moving constantly. We serve coffee in the traditional way, mostly to people who are in a hurry to get to the station or their offices. The shop is small and can get crowded quickly. The seating is just basic stools and there's no fancy AC or anything that works perfectly all the time. It is a simple place for a quick drink. We start very early because the street wakes up early. The smell of coffee is everywhere. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just stand behind the counter and pour the kaapi. Subedar Chatram Road is a loud place, so we usually have to raise our voices to be heard over the traffic. It’s not a place where you sit for hours with a laptop. You come in, get your coffee, and move on. We keep the counters wiped down and the brass filters ready. It’s honest work. We don't claim to be special. We are just a local spot on the 1st Main that people rely on for their daily caffeine fix. It’s been that way since we opened this specific branch. We don't have any big signs, just the smell of coffee to guide people in.
