Hatti Kaapi

Down at 31/1 Avenue Road, near the KR Road crossing, is where you will find Hatti Kaapi. It is a very crowded part of the city, and we are right in the thick of it. There is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic outside, but we just keep the coffee moving. We don't have much space to spread out, so everything is pretty tight. Most of our day is spent just handling the cups and making sure the brew is ready. Avenue Road is famous for being busy, and we definitely feel that every single day. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; it is just a few of us working behind the counter. We use simple equipment and just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is slow, but we figure it out as we go. It is a very human way to run a business, with all its little problems. We have seen a lot of people come and go from this corner over the years. It is a practical spot for a quick drink while you are shopping or working nearby. We don't try to be anything we are not. We are just a small shop at 31/1 trying to keep the local crowd happy with what we have.
