We set up shop at 45/42 in the R S Complex. It’s right in Gnanajyothi Nagar, very close to the Mallathahalli Quarters bus stop. Being near the bus stop means there are always people walking by. We deal with properties, so we spend a lot of time talking to folks about land or houses. Our office isn’t anything special to look at. We have some maps of the local area pinned to the walls and a few desks that have seen better days. Gnanajyothi Nagar is a growing area, so we see a lot of changes happening around us. We spend part of our day out on the road looking at sites and the rest of it here in the complex. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. We know most of the people who live around the Mallathahalli Quarters. Sometimes it’s just people stopping in to ask for directions or about a piece of land they saw. We try to be helpful. It’s a local business, so we don’t have any fancy marketing. We just use what we know about the neighborhood. The R S Complex is a bit older, but it works for us. We have a small fan that keeps us cool during the afternoons. It’s just us doing our best to keep track of the local real estate market. Some days are slow, but others keep us on our feet until quite late.
